Sam Loves Ice Cream

Sam Loves Ice Cream is an acrylic painting on canvas, created for a friend of a friend. Sam was an elder pup who loved car rides and munchin’ on human snacks (such as a nice ice cream cone!). This pet portrait turned out to be a slightly stylized caricature. Although cats are my specialty, there’s always room for a dog or two – I enjoy the challenge!
